After relocating from my native South Carolina home, I fell in love with beautiful rocky coast of Maine and New Hampshire. I decided at that time to make this area my permanent home.
My Business Experience
The past fifteen years of my life coupled with a family background in real estate has offered a wide array of personal and professional experiences that have culminated in a resume that makes me uniquely qualified to assist you with your real estate needs.My initial foray into the work place stemmed from my vocation as a whitewater rafting guide throughout the United States. I was part owner and Operations Manager in an adventure company specializing in whitewater rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and camping. Our success (and we were successful) was highly dependent on exemplary sales skills, delivering on promises, performing our due diligence, and exceeding the expectations of our clients.
Following this experience, I returned to school and after receiving a Bachelor's degree in Early American History, I attended the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and received a Master's in Management and Organizational Communications. I then worked as the Director of Destination Services at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, AZ. In that position, I had the occasion to hone my skills in negotiation, contracts, buyers' expectations and sellers' perspectives.
My subsequent experience as the Operations Manager and Estimator for a large Mechanical Contracting company combined my previous corporate and sales experience with an in-depth knowledge of the construction process and the difference between quality and sub-par structures.
